Maturity Has Side EffectsThe snow feels out of place, wrong somehow. There’s no feeling of it’s December, about time we’ve had a storm or oh, good, maybe we’ll have a white Christmas after all; only the subtle suggestion of an intrusion, that maybe it shouldn’t be happening  right here, right now, at all.  
 
There’s a possibility it’s me that’s initiating this feeling, that no one else detects anything astray, but I don’t think so. I think it has more to do with the fact that the snow’s not collecting on the ground like it should. The front yard looks as though someone’s shaken an excessive a Maturity Has Side Effects

WonderI have this photo album.   
I found it in the basement several weeks ago. We had been looking at old pictures, cleaning out our overly large collection, and on a trip downstairs to find more I stumbled onto it unwittingly.  
 
It was in a large wooden box, whose label told me it once housed beer. There were two other albums and two framed photographs inside as well, but it was this particular one that caught my attention.   
The front and back covers match exactly, two pink tulips set against a blurred green background. Inside lay a dozen pages and numerous photographs, the majority of which are black and white. Wonder

The thing about group hugs is they’re a lot better in theory than in practice. Not that that’s uncommon in the stifling July heat. It’s always affected her more than anyone else in her family, depleting her energy stores and clouding her mind, whereas her brother can run the bases in the baseball diamond down the street for hours before needing to take a break.  Her mother spent all day out in the harsh sunlight, trying to plant a vegetable garden that Reyna secretly has no hope for, seeing as it’s so late in the season. Hello, and Happy Holidays

Er...hello, then. Long time no see, and all that.

You know, it is extremely hard to write for personal or creative reasons when you have an essay, a response, or a lab report due for school and hanging over your head. Unfortunately, this year i've discovered that sophomore students tend to have at least one of those assigned almost constantly. For that reason I haven't been writing much as of late, and therefore haven't been on deviantART too much. My comments and whatnot have been a bit...nonexistant, and for that I'm sorry. But school monopolizes quite a bit of time.

Just thought I'd explain, and I always update my journal when I post a deviation so...yeah. Hope anyone reading this is having a nice holiday season.
